Shipping & Shipping Times

We ship orders within 4 weeks, though your order may ship sooner (depending on our production schedule). We ship via UPS, which takes 1-5 business days within the continental US. UPS packages must be sent to a street address. To make shipping costs reasonable for our friends in Alaska and Hawaii, we ship via Priority Mail to those two states. If you need your package shipped to a PO/APO box, please contact us.

If I need an item faster than 1-4 weeks, can I get it sooner?
We offer a rush production option for a fee of $25. This fee rushes your order through production and ensures that it will ship within 7 days of order placement. This production rush is NOT a guaranteed arrival date. If you need your order faster than normal transit time, please choose rush shipping accordingly.

International Shipments are shipped by Express Mail only: (Express Mail price does not include Duty, Customs Adjustments or VAT. Up to 75$ additional charges in VAT and duties may apply upon delivery of the product.)

Return Policy

Our refund and return policy is as follows:

  • If you received the wrong item, we will promptly send you the correct item or issue you a full refund after you have returned the wrong item. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
  • All sales are final. If you received what you ordered and it is not defective, we cannot accept returns.

Ordering & Custom Items

Can I order a custom item?
Due to our design and production schedule, Queen Bee no longer makes custom items. We are happy to hear your wishes and requests for future design collections - email us if you’d like to do this.

Can I come to the studio to purchase items?
Yes! We are now offering open studio hours Monday thru Friday between 9 am & 5 pm. We are able to accept all forms of payment including Visa and Mastercard. We have both first and second (slightly flawed and cheaper) items for sale at the Hive as well as some one-of-a-kind pieces. Even a toy box for the kids! Everyone is welcome.

I want to buy something you used to make but don't see on the website anymore. Is it possible to still find one?
If you don’t see it on the website, we either don't make the item any longer or have run out of stock. In this situation, we recommend checking out the retail stores section on our site to see if any of them still have what you are looking for. Many shops are able to ship items to you.

Can I change the records in the record bags?
With the 7" Truckette, there is a zipper in the lining of the flap that enables you to change the record. With the 45 rpm Handbag and LP Tote, the records are permanently sewn in and are not removable.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

We have gift certificates available, but not online yet! (We’re working on it, honest.) Call us to purchase a gift certificate and let them choose from our amazing array of bags and accessories. Available in any dollar amount, just call us at 503.232.1755 to purchase. We’ll even include a hand-written note with the certificate if you like.

Some simple Gift Certificate rules:
- Gift certificates must be redeemed within one year of purchase.
- You cannot purchase a gift certificate with a gift certificate.
- Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.

Cleaning & Care

Are Queen Bee products leather-free?
Yes--all of our products are leather free.

How can I clean my Queen Bee item?
Day to day dirt:
Mild soap & warm water. Dry with soft cloth.

More difficult stains:
Use non-abrasive household cleaners like Goo-Gone, Formula 409 or Fantastik with water & soft cloth. A mild solvent-type cleaner such as isopropyl alcohol may also be used. Dry area with another cloth, rinse with clean water and dry.

If you’d like to clean your entire bag:
Truckettes & Truckers can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle - do not stuff the bag in with many other items; make sure it has ample room. Hang to dry completely to avoid mold or mildew developing. For tote bags, you can take it to the dry cleaners - if possible, find an “environmentally-friendly” cleaner. Traditional cleaners use chemicals that are extremely toxic and harmful to the atmosphere & humans. If you choose this route, make sure to tell them that it is vinyl fabric (not leather). Please note: Queen Bee Inc. cannot assume responsibility for damage resulting from the use of cleansers or methods recommended above.
