Rebecca

Rebecca Pearcy

Founder, Designer, President

Rebecca founded Queen Bee back in 1996 from a corner in her bedroom. She is thrilled & amazed that her little project has turned into a thriving company involving the skills and contributions of so many talented people. When she’s not at Queen Bee, Rebecca enjoys sewing clothing, cooking soup, singing sad songs, and going out dancing.

Redd Moon

Legend

Redd started off as a volunteer at Queen Bee back in 2000. He quickly became an employee and climbed the ranks to share ownership and become Rebecca's business partner. Redd left Queen Bee in 2007 to pursue his many passions & projects - he is missed and QB owes much of it's success to his multitude of contributions. Viva Redd Moon!

Heidi Hopfer

Customer Relations, Administrative Assistant

Heidi began at Queen Bee as a volunteer which rolled into a proper job in 2002. She has tried on different pants at the hive and now happily wears her own, chatting it up with our brilliant customers. Take a minute to meet Little-Who, her line of handcrafted greeting cards that keep her busy. In early 2007 Heidi also became a Mom and has been living in snapshots of disbelief. She is breathing in & ready to use her heart as a projector.

Corey Cowles

Production Seamstress

Corey relocated to Portland from Detroit in 2004 to pursue a life of adventure and passion. She began her sewing career 2 1/2 years ago with Mountain Soles, another local Portland company. Corey became a part of the Queen Bee production team in October of 2007. In her free time she enjoys whitewater kayaking, riding her motorcycle, and creating craft based art.

Kierstin Oliver

Production Room Wrangler

Kierstin Oliver graduated with a B.F.A in textiles in 1999. Like most, she put her degree to proper use and became a production potter. After six years of ceramic work she made the move from Eugene to Portland in search of inspiration. Kierstin landed at Queen Bee in early February and has since begun an exploration in a new medium...paint. In her free time she enjoys playing the guitar, walking the Norah-dog, riding her bike and occasionally, writing about herself in the third person.

Dana Hinger

Operations & Business Manager

Sara Tunstall

Shipping Manager

Sara started as QB's Shipping Manager in October of 2006. During the day, she ships our creations and obsessively makes spreadsheets. About everything. At night, she heads off to school where she fills her brain with all the bits of information that will one day amount to a Masters in Business Administration. She likes to hang out with her pumpkin-headed, tiny-dancing, beefcake of a dog, go on long bike rides and sing karaoke. She does a mean Garth Brooks, and is fierce with a tape gun.

Nicole O'Connor

Bookkeeper

Nicole transplanted from Santa Cruz in 2006 and is soaking up the funky culture and creative lifestyle that is Portland. When she is not busy crunching numbers and laughing with the worker bees, she thrives on her yoga practice, oil painting and chasing the sun.
